Terms of Service
Last updated: March 20, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Storage Manager ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
Storage Manager is a macOS desktop application that helps users identify and remove unnecessary files such as caches, log files, duplicate files, and other items that occupy disk space. The App operates entirely on your local machine.
3. License
Upon purchase, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Storage Manager on the number of devices specified by your plan (Pro: 1 Mac, Family: up to 5 Macs). See our End User License Agreement for full license terms.
4. User Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Reviewing files before approving deletion
- Maintaining backups of important data
- Using the App in compliance with applicable laws
- Keeping your license key confidential
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Storage Manager or its developers be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, arising out of or in connection with your use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App.
7. Data Safety
Storage Manager moves deleted files to Trash by default. However, once you empty Trash, files may not be recoverable. We strongly recommend maintaining regular backups using Time Machine or another backup solution.
8. Updates
We may release updates to improve functionality, fix bugs, or address security issues. Lifetime updates are included with all paid licenses.
9. Termination
We may terminate your license if you violate these Terms, including distributing the App without authorization or attempting to reverse engineer it.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
